• 17.3 Show understanding of digital certificates:
  • purpose of digital certificates
  • how digital certificates are acquired (Certificate Authority)
  • information contained in a digital certificate
  • how digital certificates are used to verify identity
• 17.4 Show understanding of digital signatures:
  • purpose of digital signatures
  • how digital signatures are created and verified
  • ensuring integrity and non-repudiation
• 17.5 Show understanding of quantum cryptography:
  • basic principles
  • benefits and limitations compared to classical cryptography
